Laser engraving on acacia wood – Series of 4 unique portraits
The series “The Silent Ones” highlights four portraits of women in profile, all different, all finely engraved in the warm acacia wood. Their inward gazes, their structured or ethereal headdresses, and their discreet silhouettes evoke a multitude of thoughts, eras, and memories.
Each coaster is a work of art in itself, but together they compose a hushed, almost cinematic narrative. The subtle contrast between the dark engraving and the golden grain of the wood creates a soft, elegant, and timeless atmosphere.
This set consists of two coasters with a patinated finish (hand-applied wood filler), and two left unfinished, revealing the natural beauty of the acacia wood. A balance between crafted material and authenticity.
